How will My Lawyer Resolve My Personal Injury Case?

March 15, 2013 by Robbins Law, P.C.

Once our personal injury lawyer has investigated your case, we will begin the process of pursuing compensation under plaintiff’s law. Each personal injury case is unique, and the most effective way of resolving your case will also be unique.

Questions we must ask ourselves as your case progresses include:

  • How can we show the negligence of the other party led to your injury?
  • What documentation of the injury do we have?
  • What is the most effective way of pursuing compensation in this case?
  • How can we recover the most compensation possible?

Personal injury cases are not always resolved by judges and juries in a courtroom. Although a jury trial is always a possibility, many personal injury cases are settled out of court. A settlement is an offer of compensation from the other party, usually made to avoid a trial.

Before taking a settlement from the other party or an insurance company, you must consult an experienced personal injury lawyer. If you are not represented by a lawyer, you are likely to get an unfair and unreasonably low offer.

If a fair settlement amount cannot be reached, the case may go to trial, where it will be decided by a judge or jury.

We will be on your side throughout your case, making sure every decision is made in your best interest.

To find out how our experienced Atlanta personal injury lawyer can resolve your case, please contact Robbins Law, PC, to schedule a free initial consultation.
